The Youth Career Program (YCP) in Newport News is a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower and nurture young talent within our community. Launched as a part of the Newport News Youth T.H.R.I.V.E. (Transforming Hearts, Renewing Investment, Valuing Empowerment). This Initiative is a comprehensive program designed to empower and support the youth of Newport News, Virginia. Youth T.H.R.I.V.E aims to create a community where every young person has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
YCP provides essential career exploration and hands-on work experience, YCP helps youth aged 16-17 and young adults aged 18-24 discover their passions and build meaningful career paths.
We believe that investing in the next generation not only shapes their future but also contributes to a stronger, more innovative industry.
